Greg Mallyon

2018 has got off to a great start with my 36th solo exhibition "OUTBACK " opening at the new Flinders space of Manyung Gallery in mid January.

Last year saw my participation in three international art fairs , two in Singapore ( March and November 2017 ) and one in Hong Kong ( May 2017 ) .Warner Bros selected a group of my works from the first Singapore Affordable Art Fair for filming on the set of "Crazy Rich Asians" due for world wide release in August 2018. It is expected to be an international block buster movie owing to the success of the novel on which it is based . It is a thrill to have my paintings featured .

I also was artist in residence for 3 weeks at the well known CAP printmaking studio in Thailand . New etchings and monoprints resulted .

Meanwhile back in Australia I have been comissioned to paint large scale murals on the facade of a luxury apartment complex in Melbourne (completion date estimated late 2019)
