Greg Mallyon is an Australian artist who has exhibited successfully for over 20 years throughout Australia and also in Europe, Asia and the United States.
His paintings and limited edtion prints are found in various corporate, private and public collections both in Australia and overseas. Greg's work has been the subject of two in-flight documentaries for Australian airlines (Qantas and Ansett) and over 70 media interviews including Australian TV, national and international radio , newspapers and magazines.
In recent years the main theme of his work has been aerial and satellite views of Australia and overseas destinations.This has been researched by the artist's travels combined with maps, aerial and satellite photographs. In 2012 and 2013 the artist was finalist in six national art awards including the 2012 Outback Art Award and the 2013 Tattersalls Landscape Award.
The highlight of Greg's career in 2013 was his selection as Post Graduate Artist in Residence at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica ( International School of Graphics) in Venice .Since then he has expanded his gallery representation in 2014 to a total of five Australian galleries .
